PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Name: Hadir Ael'orlas
Nicknames given by others: Bear
How your character refers to him/her self: Nothing out of the
ordinary.
Race: Half-Elf
Class: Paladin, Warblade
Age: 32
Health: Despite his outward fair Elven appearance, years of a body pressed against terrors
and evil (in the form of weapons, environment, and mental condition) have rendered him worn.
General appearance: Rather large, and other than his ears and minute graces, un-Elven.
Despite the rippled and large physique presented in his arms, he retains a rather large stomach, chest, and thighs (from an over-enjoyment of ale, long
pipe-sittings, and his human mother's meatpies).
Clothing usually worn: Mithral breastplate (with a mail underlining) and a matching
helm, simple bracers (a gift), a dark-green travel worn cloak, light brown trousers, and heavy dark-brown boots.
Clothing preferred: A simple white tunic, comfortable trousers, and his bare feet (nestled in
soft, cool grass).
What image (overall) is portrayed: A common man, who's actions echo hero. Called a
"gentle bear" for much of his young-adult life by family and friends, the title was oft' accurate.
Height: 6'
Weight: 235
Eye color: Green
Hair color: Fair Brown
Skin color: White
Complexion: Tan, much more a key in his Human heritage than Elven.
Body type: Muscular overlaid with some body fat.
Athletic proficiencies: Hadir tended to keep to studies outside his training into the
Paladin and Warblade classes.
Posture: He holds a straight posture, demanding of respect in as humble a way
perceivable.
Walk: Depends on circumstances. Either slightly bent forward with quick normal
steps (when in a hurry) or reclined and straight with long slow strides (when at ease). Both show some sign of grace, countering an occasional
clumsiness.
Other physical distinctions: Tattoo of crossed swords above his left wrist.
Characteristic manner of speaking: Loud and charismatically.
HISTORY
Earliest memory: Watching his mother mourn his father's death (at the age of three).
Place of birth: Silverymoon.
Travel history/reason: After completing a basic
Paladin training with the church of Corellon Larethian, Hadir began to undergo missions of minor importance. It wasn't until he (in very queer
circumstances) took up with a Moon Elven Warblade (and trained extensively) that he decided to champion the weak, and server righteousness wherever it was
needed. The church tended to frown upon this, although Hadir remained faithful to his deity.
Has your character ever lived in a foreign land: His travels tended to be on spontaneous need levels, and at the end of each adventure he
found himself home in the Silver Marches again.
What events, circumstances, or experiences have had a major impact on your character's way of thinking: After beginning to train under a Warblade, Hadir's loyalties shifted to the people of Silverymoon (and those in need elsewhere). As
such he provided service free-of-charge for any local problems in Silverymoon, and journeyed at the call of any in need. (These jouney's often came about
from rumor until his name was renown and tended to be in very dire circumstances).
Looking back, how would your character describe the past five to ten years of his/her life, both professionally/academically and
personally/socially: His personal war of defense, has proven to be seemingly endless. His hope (despite
any outward inclinations of such) is in disarray. For with each evil he vanquishes, another just as vile seems to take it's place in another far-from-home
land.
Describe home life while growing up: Father died at an early age in battle. His Human mother
was loving, and well taken care of by his Elven line. Hadir was educated, and later trained as a Paladin all at the family's beneficiary.
Illnesses/when: Hadir has suffered a variety of illnesses obtained primarily in engagement with shadows, and undead horror.
Major accidents/when: Other than catastrophic battle wounds (healed only by powerful magics) as
a child, he fell victim to a collapsing farmhouse during a weekend visit. His face was struck by some of the debris and his left-eye still proves to be very
weak.
Most painful thing in your character's life: The death of his Warblade instructor and
companion. Contrary to Warblade philosophy, this teacher was struck down not in battle but from a terrible sickness upon his old age during winter. The
anti-climatic end of the warrior was beside his hopes in death and Hadir's for him.
