Travel history/reason:He was the sole survivor of a raid against his house by House L'Sargoth, another lower ranking House in Menzoberranzan. He escaped and made his way to the surface, where he was adopted by a mage who was traveling from waterdeep to neverwinter, and took pity on the child.
Has your character ever lived in a foreign land: Yes, the surface; the sword coast.
What events, circumstances, or experiences have had a major impact on your character's way of thinking:His house being destroyed was a major impact in his life, coloring how he sees his fellow drow. Also, his mentoring by Arzim Akall, who was like a father to him.
Looking back, how would your character describe the past five to ten years of his/her life, both professionally/academically and personally/socially: THe past five to ten years of Xilo's life were that of studying the arcane arts, along with self-taught weapons practice and skullduggery. He is an intelligent elf, with a strong potential for magic, as well as having great dexterity and good strength, from working out and honing his fighting abilities. Personally and socially, he learned to interact with an eclectic group of races from his time in Neverwinter. He has little experience with other drow, however, but from his earliest experiences, he won't be shocked by what he finds. Rather, he considers it a challenge to overcome.

Describe home life while growing up: His home life growing up was a mix of circumstances. His earliest years (The first 14) being that of the typical drow male; being groomed for the academy, being beaten and forced to remain silent. His later years were marked by a fairly compassionate upbringing by the good mage Arzim. Although strict, Arzim was certainly not drow.
Illnesses/when:
Major accidents/when:At one point during his tutelage, Siomendel snuck into his mentor's lab and began experimenting with various powders and oils; the burns took months of clerical aid to heal.
Most painful thing in your character's life:Being driven from Menzoberranzan, pursued by killers.

What is the important thing to know about your character: The most important thing to know is that he has little experience with the subtleties of drow culture.
How self-aware is he/she: He is fairly self-aware, he knows his weak points and plays to his strengths. He is still young though and can be caught off guard rather easily. (more easily than he would prefer, especially by drow females)
