Here are movies Mike and I have seen for 2005 that we recommend seeing. IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER!
The Ring 2
Though personally we found the 1st one to be better, they of course left it open for another one in my opinion. It had a different twist than the 1st movie and added in a lot more detail that the 1st movie left out.
I give it 3 stars
Cursed
Truthfully not a good movie but worth mentioning all the same. It's not a vampire movie like some thought, it was a werewolf movie that had a weak plotline and sucky special effects. In my opinion it was not one of Wes Craven's better movies.

The Boogeyman
A better movie than Cursed for certain. It was more suspenseful than scary but the special effects were pretty good. I highly enjoyed the movie until the ending, which was a big let down for me.

Hide and Seek
I really like suspense mysteries. It was a pretty good movie that kept you guessing with an almost tricky ending.

Sin city
I didn't really like the movie itself but Mike did. It was a good movie if you really like the killing and guns and other action packed plot line. It takes some getting used to with only splashes of color with mostly black and white scenes. Elijah Wood was great in this movie!

The Amityville Horror
I probably spelled that wrong but spellchecker doesn't work right now.
This movie was okay, had pretty good effects and a decent enough plotline. Of course it is based on the true story but they focused on the "ghostly" aspect of it. Good movie if you like the spooky.

Star Wars Episode III
Better than the first 2. That boy still can't act though. It tied all the movies together. The fight scenes this time were better. Fans would love this movie.

Constantine
It was pretty good, but I was not as impressed as the plotline unfolded. Gabriel and Lucifer stole the show. Not one of Reeves best roles.

Kingdom of Heaven
Not as good as Gladiator, most of the ploline was lacking, but the last battle was worth watch. Orlando bloom is better suited playing elves or dandy men, not a knight.

Kung Fu Hustle
I'm not into action movies much but this remided me of an anime. It was cool but corny and downright funny! It has all the basics. Drama, romance, right vs. wrong, comedy, action and the touch of supernatural.
I give it 3.5 stars
The sisterhood of the Travelling Pants
Well if you like tear jerkers and chick flicks, this one is very good. This was a surprise from Mike. It's a story within a story of 4 different girls who are best friends being apart from each other for the summer.
I give it 3.5 stars
