Recently, I have resurrected an old hobby and goal of mine. I've began construction on a new Forgotten Realms forum, along the lines of this one, only less focused on one specific race and region, and more widespread.
More specifically, it resembles the fantasy storyline section, as it will be a very roleplay-intensive, but a bit slower paced. This will probably be good news for those of you who, like myself, have limited amounts of time to work on such things, or people who lack the time or ability to maintain steady devotion to more than one roleplay site and don't want to see their performance suffer on any field.
Our first administrator-led campaign will be of a group of monstrous bandits, consisting mostly of ogres, half-ogres, and ogrillons. However, almost any region or character type will be accepted, with only mild consultation on the more far-fetched examples. I'd appreciate and welcome anyone enthusiastic enough to join my efforts and help me launch what I hope will be a long term storyboard.
Not wishing to open my board to trolls (other than the green skinned regenerating ones) and other unpleasant sorts, I chose not to advertise much at the current time. This, however, is one of the very few places I have posted my link, due to the extremely impressive level of skill, maturity, intelligence, and friendliness I encountered here. I would be lucky and very grateful to have even a few people as talented as this site contains in each thread, and I'm not going to keep it a secret that this site and the people I've met here are the main thing that inspired me to begin rebuilding my old dreams (as well as pushing aside the more "important" work I have to do).
