In order to make sure that everyone can enjoy these boards, we ask that you read and follow these guidelines. Violations of any of these rules will result in action taken; deleted or moved posts, warnings, and, depending on the severity of the violation, could result in people being banned. Please be respectful at all times.
-No Pornographic Material. Any sexually oriented imagery or links to such content will not be tolerated. Don't post links to porn websites, and don't post pornographic pictures here, or in the chatroom. The only exception is character commissions in the artist forum. But include warnings in the subject line or post itself.
-No Warez or Illegal Software. This includes linking to software, posting about it, and suggesting to get it.
-No Cursing or Swear words. We encourage you to use our Communities as a forum to debate topics, but please use proper adjectives to express yourself. We will not tolerate abuse upon another member. Changing characters in a word in an effort to hide its offensive nature is also not permissible (e.g. @zz). This includes when posting, AND when in the chatroom. If you can't get your point across without cursing, then don't say anything. Again there are exceptions like the Quest/role-play forums where cursing is aloud
-No Attacks / Retaliation of any kind against a member, or group of members. Flame wars will not be tolerated. This HAS to stop.
-If you are a long standing member, act like one. Lead by example and assist other newer members rather then attacking them. We look upon our veteran members to use this opportunity to teach the newer members the appropriate way to use these message boards. Everybody was a newbie at some time.
-Posts in a particular forum need to stay on topic. We encourage you to talk about anything provided it meets all the other requirements; that's what the General discussion and Misc. forum is for.
-No spamming. Spamming is characterized by the initiation of threads or posts that contribute nothing to a forum, be it off topic or on topic. Examples include: empty bodies, bodies with few words that have no relation to the current thread or discussion and those posts that state they are spam, either to annoy or increase a member's post count. This determination is made by the forum Moderator or Administrator and is not up for discussion. Spam will be deleted, and if a member continues to spam the boards, action will be taken.
- If it's not your photo, and you don't have express permission from the owner of the image (or the person(s) in the image), don't post it here. It is NOT yours to post.

1st Offense. - A warning from the Moderator or the Admin (most people have their inbox enabled. If you do not, you will have a post created with your name in the Subject line. If you don't want your warnings made public, enable your inbox)
2nd Offense - Severe warning
3rd Offense - 1 week ban from the boards
4th Offense - 1 month ban from the boards
5th offense - permanent ban from the boards.
