I noticed that the character creation sheet was very similar to the D&D 3.5 character sheet, well the info is the same. So would it be possible to use my
character sheets i have saved to my computer?

Yes go ahead.
To be insane is to have a lack of understanding of what one is doing to themselves and others in their surroundings. It is a disorder of the mind that prevents remembering ones actions clearly.
So if you think you are insane, such a thought is a coherent one that defines you as sane.
