We've taken down the Posting Rights blocker that formerly required people to either have an existing EZBoard account or create a new one in order to post on the boards.
While it was done originally after the major board wipe-outs of 2005 as a company-suggested form of protection, I believe it is detrimental to activity from casual passers-by, especially when it comes to wanting Feedback and Bug Base Reports. However, if we start getting a massive amount of spam posts that need removed every day, or this prompts security issues related to the boards being hacked or crashed, we'll be forced to put the Posting Rights ban back on. In any event, for now, enjoy. Challenge in life is inevitable...defeat is optional.

We currently have an artist under commission to create a new theme, banner, and accompanying graphics for these boards.
We're also in negotiations for having a script of sorts thrown into the deal for creating custom avatars. No confirmation on that part just yet. Until the project is finished, we won't make any further cosmetic changes (as that would defeat the purpose of paying someone else to do it), so things may be in a bit of disarray (such as that annoying X always popping up where the old banner was). There isn't an ETA on the actual completion time as of yet, but when we get one, we'll let you know. We're hoping it won't be overly long. Challenge in life is inevitable...defeat is optional.

As you can see, we're the boards are undergoing some revisions right now.
This is both to aid in navigation and use of the boards, and to get ready for the inevitable switch to Yuku. Please bear with us for the next day or two, thanks. Challenge in life is inevitable...defeat is optional.

Unless anyone has suggestions on any further changes, I believe the revisions are done for the moment.
Once we transfer to Yuku, there will be more changes as there will be more features available. For instance, some things will be moved into Subforums (something you can't do here). I believe images can also be hosted directly through the boards on Yuku, so we can add more Avatars and whatnot, and people can choose to upload their pics onto here rather than bandwidthing from elsewhere. Hrm, I think that's about it. I will be trying to fix the glitchiness of the new Banner when I can. We'll also be adding a Banner for the drow campaign at the bottom of the boards once we find an artist to do it. Anywho, just wanted to throw that update out. Well, after a few tries, I got the animated banner done that's going in the board's footer section. However, on my comp the frame to frame fade transition is running really slow, so going to take it down for the night and test it tomorrow one Lisa's comp.
If its still slow at that time, I'll go rebuild it at a faster rate. Anywho, just thought I'd throw that out there. One way or another it'll be up tomorrow (er, later today I suppose) Challenge in life is inevitable...defeat is optional.

Hrm, the animated banner is running fine for Lisa, but alternates between fine and lagging for me. I suppose I'll leave it up for now, and see how it goes for everyone else.
If we get too many complaints, I'll try and rework it (again). Now to go see what I can do about the top banner. Challenge in life is inevitable...defeat is optional.

Alrighty, just giving a heads up that we've submitted for having the boards transferred over to Yuku.

Wow, that was fast. Well, tons of new options, feel free to do what you can with those available for users. Meanwhile, Lisa and I will be looking for cool
features for the boards themselves. Might take a bit of time to see any real changes, as lots to look through.
