I have been alerted by a good friend, about a situation that disturbs me, it has me worried and angry. He wanted to know if it is copyright infringement. I dunno, so I'm asking artists since this deals with an artist.
Some of you are good friends to me and have done art for me.
I need advice, I have had Xull'rae since 2001 and had a picture dated back then and then
You can find it here: drowcampaign.roleplaynexu...stats.html
I even have e-mail proof (which is cluttered as I never got around to finish coding it.) showing the process of me getting the commission done: drowcampaign.roleplaynexu...aepic.html
I did this so if my computer crashed and lost data that I still had proof the character was mine and that I paid for her.
Two years go by before I get another picture done (the Yerin Yoo one which was finished on my birthday June 29th 2003)
The pic can be found here: yerin.conclaveofarts.com/...ullrae.htm
and yet there is an an artist out there who has an extremely similar concept to mine and hers is copyright 2003 yet I found no back story on this character, she just has a name and a few pics of a character that looks like mine.
Is it considered copyright infringement if the two characters look almost exactly alike except her name is different, the eyes are green, and she has a tattoo but it's different and on the shoulder.
I can show you links if you like, I just didn't know if I have the right or not and I want very much to ignore it but I can't..it disturbs me. I dunno what to do...any advice for my distress?
I'm gonna ask my other artist friends as well. Get back to me when you can please.

To be insane is to have a lack of understanding of what one is doing to themselves and others in their surroundings. It is a disorder of the mind that prevents remembering ones actions clearly. So if you think you are insane, such a thought is a coherent one that defines you as sane.
