A dervish gains this bonus to armor class as long as she is wearing no armor (including light armor) and no shield. This bonus even applies to touch attacks or when the dervish is flat-footed. She looses this bonus when she is immobilized or helpless, when she wears any armor heavier than light, when she carries a shield or when she carries a medium to heavy load.
